What IS AcidViewX and how did it happen?

Many MSDOS users are familiar with AcidView. It's a general
ansi file viewer. It is known for it's stability, and it's
	introduction of SAUCE file tagging.
In the previous years, AcidView has been restricted to DOS and
	DOSemulation.

Things are changing. AcidView was taken over by SiDS, who
changed the entire look and made it more multi-tasking-friendly.
SiDS then moved over to the GUI msWindows programing environment
and began a new project: AcidView for Windows.

At about the same time, Shiver, another ansi group, died. It's
lone coder, who had worked on ShiverView for almost a year, went
in search of a new group.

This coder joined Acid, on the advice of a friend, an ansi artist
named Asylum. Now the coder wrote a couple of intros, but found
that due to lack of any large project, he was bored. He took
interest in a discussion about AcidView for Windows, and after
reading some messages on the GUI subject, he decided to write
	a bit of a X11 port.

So that's how AcidViewX came to be. It's probably not a very
interesting story, but I need to take a break from coding every
once and a while, so I wrote it just the same.

Where do I get help?

If you have a problem, read the help files in this order:
	1-INSTALL
	1-FAQ

If you still have problems, I would recommend you email your
problem to me, or ask around, someone may know the answer.
I cannot help you with any problems which do not relate specifically
with avX (i.e. you can't get X11 to work). If you have this sort
of problems, it would be best to read their help files, and ask
	their "experts".
